Görlitz Salon Quartet

Elegance, nostalgia and joie de vivre: when the sky is full of violins.

Since its foundation in 2023 by the renowned pianist Olga Dribas, the Görlitz Salon Quartet has made it its mission to continue the splendid tradition of café house and salon music in Upper Lusatia. Together with the experienced cellist Leon Szostakowski and the talented violinists Lucía López Borrego and Ekaterina Khoroshilova, the quartet revives the splendour of bygone eras.

A repertoire that enchants The musicians dedicate themselves to the almost inexhaustible pool of cheerful light music that characterised the salons from Vienna to Paris in the 19th century. Immerse yourself in a world full of:

• Passionate rhythms: Spirited tango and fiery Hungarian csárdás.

Pleasure for all the senses The quartet's concert afternoons are a complete experience. Well-known singers are often invited as guests to delight the audience with popular hits and operetta melodies - all in the cosy atmosphere of coffee and cake.
