Open Call for Radikal Jung

** We – the Polyformers group – are launching a new theatre project and are looking for three young people aged between 14 and 20 to take part. **

Would you like to share the stage with three professional actresses? The play ‘Radikal Jung’ tackles the issue of right-wing extremism amongst young people, which is becoming increasingly widespread. This is evident not only from the latest election results, but also from the fact that right-wing violence has increased significantly. Far-right groups are increasingly active on social media, in schools and in sports – and specifically target young people.
That’s why we want to explore the causes and consequences of this trend together and shed light on the stages leading to the growing radicalisation of young people. We’ve researched real-life cases for the play. We were supported in this by Andreas Speit, an expert on right-wing extremism. Through a series of scenes, we take the audience on a journey into the world of the new far-right.
We rehearse and perform at Rabryka, Conrad-Schiedt-Straße 23, 02826 Görlitz.

An information session will take place there on 21 September 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The following rehearsal dates are then scheduled:

24 September 2026 and 25 September 2026, 3.30 pm–7.30 pm on both days // 26 September 2026 and 27 September 2026,
10 am–4 pm // 16 September 2026, 1 pm–7 pm |/ 17–21 October 2026, 11 am–5 pm each day // 23 October 2026, 12.00–19.00 // 24 October 2026, 11.00–18.00 // 25 October 2026, 10.00–13.00 (dress rehearsal)
The premiere is on 25 October 2026 at 6.00 pm. Further performances are on 26 October 2026 at
11.00 am and on 27 October 2026 at 11.00 am.

If necessary, we can apply for permission for you to be absent from school for the morning sessions.
